The Current Problems in Philippine Education

There are about 5 major issues, as for what I have read, that are encircling the education here in the Philippines and they are the following:

Less competitive curriculum – a curriculum that is not much competitive or grave in the subject’s substance would also mean lack of solidness in students’ learning
Teachers lacking proficiency in subjects – a teacher should be a master of his/her teaching so that students may learn much from him/her
Ratio of students to teachers – too many students means much noise, much bigger audience and more students to discipline
this would also be a cause of less understanding of some students
Schools lack sophisticated laboratories and facilities – schools that lack good facilities and equipments would mean or  secure less knowledge and experience
they may just tend to settle watching some equipments from a cabinet but never using it
Rising cost of education – some parents especially those who have many children are having a hard time coping with the rising cost of education, some can’t even send their child to school because of the high cost of living also
